My projects

This is the first setup of my new website, it replaces my old static website build with Dreamweaver that I used during our stay in France, this website was mainly used to keep our family and friends up-to-date, before Facebook saw the light of day, so quit a while ago. It was time to say goodbye to the old stuff and make a more contemporary website. My choice fell on WordPress rather then Joomla or Drupal because WP is easy to customize with Themes and Plugins. For this site I used the OceanWP Theme and ELEMENTOR as Page Builder. Further more I am using Wamp as development environment, it allows you to create web applications with Apache2, PHP and a MySQL database, alongside, PhpMyAdmin allows you to manage easily your databases on the WAMP platform. On the moment I am playing a bit with Python, simply because it's much easier then PHP and I like to play a bit with 'real' coding so it gives my hobby more depth. Speaking about Python, extending it with C++ modules makes even more fun but I have to brush up my C++ knowledge a bit so that will be something for the future.
